An Atmospheric Poem
Shot June 17-19, 2010

Summary:

Searching deep into the emptiness is as if staring across the endless waves of water in a lake. There is never a soul who finds companionship in this vacant place, and too often do the creatures of the universe find themselves here. It is an abyss. It has one atmosphere: a hollow eerie wind.

A Deconstructive Thought
Shot from 2009-2010

Summary:

Shot in stunning black & white, this vignette explores the relationship between nature and the constructs of man.

An Experimental Piece
Shot October 10, 2009

Summary:

It's hunting season, and the fall foliage is at its peak. From sunrise to sundown the color palette is breathtakingly beautiful, and the prey easy. Join a hunting party, but beware not to wear the wrong outfit because there is the likelihood of an accident. It's our honor to present you with Falling Foliage.

A Tributary Piece
Shot June-September 2010

Summary:

One of the heaviest influences on the vignettes is Terrence Malick, and so with this we pay tribute to him. Malick used Carl Orff's Musica Poetica in Badlands (1974) to great effect, especially during the camping scenes, and we fell in love with it. Tim Butt 2 Productions gives you Flora & Fauna Poetica.

A Loving Composition
Shot June 17-19, 2010

Summary:

The landscape shoots itself when souring above the picturesque beauty of the Green Mountains. It transcends words, and thus the beauty conveyed herein is worth more than the eyes can behold. Nature holds a timeless elegance as the wildlife enjoys the sanctity of its home. Tim Butt 2 Productions calls it theirs too.

From the Start to Finish
Shot from 2008-2010

Summary:

At the end of the journey there remains so much unseen. Goodbyes are difficult, and it's especially tough when such a connection has been made throughout an expedition. This has been one of the most enjoyable paths we have taken. Hopefully one day we can travel it again, although we're certain it won't be the same. Enjoy the final shots from the Vignettes.
